The first thing you need to know about Terry Tickle and his Swing City Big Band is that you're gonna get music made for dancing. Especially if you like the new jump, jivin' swing music or the lush, romantic kind of tunes that make you feel like falling in love.
This 10-piece group out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina has been keeping folks on the dance floor since 1990 and features that local 5 x 5 legend, Terry Tickle on the tenor sax and his silver-toned side-kick, jazz vocalist Cyndi Whisnant.

This band provides a glamorous backdrop for weddings, anniversaries, parties, and corporate events. The music reflects the heydays of the Big Band Era but pumps up the rhythm to give the music a fresh appeal for today's audiences.
For smaller venues, a five or seven piece jazz group can be arranged featuring Terry on sax, Cyndi on vocals, their drummer, bass, and keyboard player. This group covers jazz standards for dancing or simply as a musical background. The focus is on good music, good times, and good entertainment.
